Privacy policy
This page explains what the Dubai Renovations website collects, who sees the details you send with a renovation enquiry, and which outside services the site uses. It describes what the site does today, and it was last updated on 15 September 2026.
What do we collect?
When you use the chat or the enquiry form, we collect what you type or send: your name, your contact details, the property type and community, the work you want and any photos you choose to add. If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive the messages and photos you send there. Separately, Google Analytics records how the site is used, which the analytics section below describes.
Who sees your enquiry?
The chat and the enquiry form are the Velogics AI Front Desk, loaded from app.velogics.ai. It stores the conversation so Dubai Renovations can read it and follow up with you. We write your enquiry up as a brief and share it with the partner contractor we ask to quote, who uses it to contact you and arrange a visit. We do not share your details with anyone else for marketing.
What does Google Analytics count?
The site uses Google Analytics 4, loaded from googletagmanager.com, to count visits and see which pages lead to enquiries. It sets cookies in your browser. Google says that when you visit a site using its services, your browser sends Google the address of the page and your IP address. You can block the cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a Google Analytics browser add-on that stops Analytics running in your browser.

Does the site record your visit?
Yes, in a limited way. The site uses Microsoft Clarity, loaded from clarity.ms, which records how the page is used: where the pointer moves, what is clicked, how far down a page you scroll and where people stop reading. It sets cookies in your browser. We use it to find the parts of a page that confuse people, not to identify anyone.
Clarity's masking is set to Strict on this site. That means every piece of text is hidden in your own browser before anything is sent to Microsoft, so a recording shows the shape of the page and where you moved, and never shows your name, your phone number, your community or the description of the work you typed. Microsoft's privacy statement covers what Microsoft does with what it receives. You can block the cookies in your browser settings.

How does WhatsApp handle your messages?
WhatsApp is a separate service run under its own terms. When you tap a WhatsApp link on this site, the conversation happens in WhatsApp, and WhatsApp's privacy policy covers what WhatsApp itself processes. Dubai Renovations sees the messages and photos you send us there, and treats them the same way as a form enquiry: we use them to write your brief and share that brief with the partner contractor asked to quote.

Where is the site hosted?
The website runs on Vercel, which serves each page when your browser requests it. Serving a page means your browser's request, including your IP address, reaches Vercel's servers. Vercel's privacy notice explains how Vercel handles the data it processes for the sites it hosts. The chat and enquiry form are served separately, from app.velogics.ai, as described in the section on who sees your enquiry.

What rights does UAE data protection law describe?
The UAE government's data protection page describes Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data as a framework to ensure the confidentiality of information and protect the privacy of individuals in the UAE. The rights it lists for the person whose data is processed include the right to request corrections of inaccurate personal data and the right to restrict or stop the processing of their personal data. How can you correct or delete your details?
Ask us at any time through the enquiry form or on WhatsApp. Tell us which enquiry it concerns and what should change, or say that you want your details deleted. Include the name and contact details you used, so we can find the right conversation. If this page changes, the new version will be published here with a new date in the introduction.
